How the Index works
- 10 questions per city, such as “best car accident lawyer in [city]”, plus Spanish versions in Houston and Miami.
- 4 engines: ChatGPT (web search), Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode.
- Each question asked 3 times per engine, logged out, from a US location, in the first 3 days of the month.
- First cities: Houston, San Antonio, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Miami.
Limits and disclosure
- We sell AI visibility services. No firm can pay for placement in the Index.
- We list the top-named firms only. We never name or shame firms that don't appear.
- AI answers vary between runs. Results reflect one location and one point in time.
- This is not a quality rating of any firm.
